Coordinated Doctor of Optometry/Master of Public Health Program
Master of Public Health/Doctor of Optometry Coordinated Degree
This MPH/OD coordinated degree program is offered through the UAB School of Optometry and the UAB School of Public Health. MPH focus courses may be customized to the experience and needs of the student.
Curriculum
Students must complete 30 credit hours in the School of Public Health in addition to the required OD curriculum requirements. Twelve credit hours from the OD curriculum are credited toward the MPH degree for a total of 42 MPH credit hours. Students may complete the MPH degree program totally online or through a mix of online and in class experiences.
